Happy New Year!

 

Happy New Year, everyone! What did you do in this winter vacation? Today, I"ll tell you about my holiday. 

I spent my New Year holiday with my family. On New Year’s Eve, I ate Toshikoshi soba. After that, I watched TV with my mother. I could watch many TV specials, so I was excited to watch them.

On New Year’s Day, I ate Osechi and some rice cakes. I like rice cake, so I was looking forward to eating them. They were delicious! Also, I visited the nearby shrine and bought an amulet.

I was very busy studying for the entrance exam around this time last year, so I really enjoyed this vacation this year!

Cats

Hello everyone.  I like animals. I especially like cats , so I will tell you my daily life with cats.  My house and my grandmother's house are adjacent. My grandmother has a dog and usually feeds stray cats, so I often see stray cats near my house. For example, when I come home from university, I can sometimes see them eating cat food. I feel happy when I see them. At that time, I watch them from a little distance and take some pictures. They are really cute! Watching cats makes me feel relaxed.

Train was suspended

Hello, everyone. I got in trouble on Monday. Today, I’ll tell you about this. I went to Okayama station after the class to go back home. It was around 11a.m. When I arrived at there, I saw many people gathered in front of the ticket gate. Surprisingly, all of trains were suspended! I had never experienced this situation, so I was upset. I was hungry and it might take a while before the problem was solved, so I went to lunch with my friend. After lunch, we backed to the station. The trouble had already been solved, so we could go home. I was happy and relieved.
